Leiki Ltd. was founded in June 2000 in Helsinki, Finland. It first demonstrated the succesful application of its ontology-based adaptive personalisation technology with a Reuters news feed in January 2001.

Leiki is the imperative form of the Finnish word 'leikkia' which means "participate in playful interaction". With Leiki's learning services, getting what you want is child's play.
